East Atlanta Village is getting a new spot to eat and drink.

The soon-to-be-named Paces Property restaurant, which will occupy the former My Sister's Room space at 1271 Glenwood Ave. SE, will feature a 27-foot bar, as well as 1,000 square feet of outdoor patio space behind the eatery.

The project is being launched by former employees of Ford Fry restaurants and Wrecking Bar, including partner and general manager Peter Chvala, partner and executive chef Nolan Wynn and partner/bar managers Katie McDonald and Faielle Stocco.

The menu will offer "New American" cuisine including hand cut pastas and dishes "that deliver thoughtful ingredients and service, but present them in a very comfortable and approachable way,” Wynn said in a prepared statement.

Beverage options will include a "stiff and cheeky" selection of classic and house cocktails, according to Stocco, as well as well as a curated list of beer and wine.

The design, which will draw from the turn-of-the-century bungalows found throughout East Atlanta, will be handled by  Decarlo Hawker Architecture and Design and Elizabeth Ingram Design to spearhead the look and feel of the space.

When completed, the restaurant will be open Tuesday through Saturday for dinner and Sunday for brunch. Late night snacks and beverages will also be available.

A projected opening date has not been released.

Other Paces Property projects include Atlanta Dairies , Krog Street Market and Larkin on Memorial.
