These are the stories that created a buzz on the metro Atlanta dining scene this week:
•MetroFresh Uptown is set to open to the public from 7 a.m.-4 p.m. Aug. 21, with regular hours starting Aug. 22. Located in One Midtown Plaza at 1360 Peachtree St. NE, this will be the second location for owner and retired actor Mitchell Anderson's quick-serve restaurant. The first location is housed at Midtown Promenade, a shopping center near Piedmont Park and the Eastside Beltline.
•Westside Pizzeria will move from its current location at 2341 Marietta Blvd. NW to mixed-use development Westside Village at 2260 Marietta Blvd. NW in 2020, What Now Atlanta reports. The pizzeria has been at its current location for 15 years.
•Chill-N Nitrogen Ice Cream plans to enter the metro Atlanta market, Atlanta Business Chronicle reports. No specific locations have been announced.
•The Duke, an Irish pub from the restaurant group behind bars including Ye Olde Dunwoody Tavern, the Royal Oak and Iron Horse Tavern, is slated to open later this month on Ashford Dunwoody Road next to Spruill House, Eater Atlanta reports.
