Mellow Mushroom opening this weekend in Decatur and other Atlanta food and restaurant news from the week

Here are the openings, closings, things to buy, drink and read in and around Atlanta from the past week:

Openings and closings

After a 2½-year absence, Mellow Mushroom returns to Decatur 11 a.m. Dec. 5 with new ownership and a new location at 340 West Ponce de Leon Avenue.

The old Decatur Mellow Mushroom closed abruptly in May 2014 after 15 years in the Commerce Square shopping center.
