Atlanta has no shortage of places to get a burger , but actor Mark Wahlberg of "Ted 2," "The Departed" and Funky Bunch fame is hoping Georgia is ready to try his brand of beef patty.

Wahlburger, which Wahlberg founded with his brothers, Donny, a former New Kids on the Block member and husband to Jenny McCarthy, and Paul, a chef, has signed franchise agreements for six Georgia locations, including one on Savannah and the rest in the "greater Atlanta area." There's no word yet on where or when the stores will open.

The restaurant is featured on the A&E show "Wahlburgers" a reality show that chronicles the chain's behind-the-scenes world.

Wahlberg's is also planning an expansion into North Carolina and South Carolina, according to Eater.
