In tomorrow's paper I've got a report on Lusca , the new restaurant from the Octopus Bar guys. This edgy Brookwood Hills spot features a seafood-heavy menu with an oyster bar, a sushi bar, and a bar bar with a sophisticated selection of wines, beers and cocktails.
After a couple of visits, I've walked away overall liking the ideas on this menu more than the specific dishes I've tried. But there are some excellent ones, including the pappardelle with sea urchin and pancetta pictured here. I think with a little more focus and a couple more breakout great dishes, this restaurant will live up to its buzz.
