A Ponce City Market store is making some additions this winter, including a new eatery.
Citizen Supply, which opened in Ponce City Market in 2015, is set to debut Likewise in the center of its 12,000-square-foot space. The concept will allow customers to eat and drink while perusing handmade goods, many from local artists, sold in the store.
The beverage program from beverage director Ben Richardson will feature cocktails such as Cats and Dogs, amix of vodka, aperitivo, grapefruit and soda; Eastwood, which features bourbon, vermouth, sherry and amaro; and Mojo, an aged rum cocktail with sparkling brachetto lime and mint.
Chef Jason Jimenez of Kitchen Six and Homespun is behind Likewise’s first food menu, which will feature seasonal snacks, light bites and shareable plates.
Designed by Grace-Made’s Savannah Metcalf, the space will offer a 25-seat communal lounge area and an open that will seat an additional 20 customers.
The revamped space also features an open-roof greenhouse from The Victorian Atlanta including greenery, tropical potted plants, cacti and handmade gardening items available for purchase.
Citizen Supply will also host an ongoing pop-up flea market beginning on Nov. 24 and held from noon-7 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday featuring a rotation of brands selling handmade, small-batch and vintage items.
