A comedian with a huge online following is bringing his long-awaited seafood restaurant to Atlanta.

Kwaylon Rogers, also known by his alter ego TiTi, will open Krab Queenz Seafood & Daiquiris at 1 p.m. Aug. 17 in the space previously occupied by Gladys Knight's Chicken & Waffles at 529 Peachtree St. NE in downtown Atlanta. Gladys Knight's closed in 2017.

Rogers will attend the opening as TiTi, along with “several other A-list celebrities,” a representative for the restaurant confirmed. Existing Krab Queenz locations have been popular with celebrities including Tamar Braxton, Tyler Perry and BSimone.

Rogers has had a busy past few months, opening Krab Queenz locations in Houston and Los Angeles in addition to Atlanta, along with starring in Perry's Madea's Farwell Play tour. He also maintains an Instagram account with nearly 4.5 million followers and a YouTube channel with nearly 250,000 subscribers.

The first Krab Queenz is located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Rogers owns his locations with partners Tonique Clay and Natasha Burton.

The Krab Queenz menu features boiled seafood plates, specialty items including seafood and waffles and fried seafood plates including shrimp and chips and po’boys. There are eight sauce options that include honey, cajun and Hot as Hell.

The restaurant also offers a kids menu, a selection of desserts including beignets and cake cups and an extensive drink menu featuring boozy floats, daiquiris and cocktails, including a Hennessy Float.

"I am super excited to be bringing our signature flavored krab legs and seafood to ATL," Rogers said in a prepared statement.  "We spell Krab with a K because of the kick of soul inside the flavors. But we're more than just krabs and good seafood, we're a vibe. We are bringing the entire Southern vibe to ATL. Our restaurants are safe havens for food, fellowship and just a damn good time. Not only do you get full, you feel good."
Krab Queenz will be open from 1-6 p.m. Aug. 17, with regular hours of noon-9 p.m. Monday-Friday and noon-6 p.m. Saturday-Sunday.
