Hudson Grille’s Brookhaven location will officially close after a final service today. Members of the restaurant staff were notified this morning and offered opportunities to continue working at other Hudson Grille locations. A restaurant representative shared news of the closing with the AJC this morning.

Metrotainment Cafes, the hospitality group that owns Hudson Grille, could not come to an agreement with the landlord at the Brookhaven location, as reported by Eater Atlanta.

Located in the Brookhaven Station shopping center, the restaurant had taken over the former space of Jocks and Jill’s, another long-running sports bar popular with locals.

The ownership group of Hudson Grille, Metrotainment Cafes, also closed the Brookhaven location of its soccer-centric sports bar Hudson FC just a few months ago. Last April, the city of Brookhaven requested payment from several restaurants it alleged had not paid correct amounts in liquor excise taxes, including Hudson Grille. In a letter to the restaurant, the city requested additional payment of more than $12,000, as reported by the Brookhaven Reporter.
