Smashburger will officially celebrate the grand opening of its fifth metro Atlanta location, this time in Locost Grove (Henry County). The "better burger" restaurant will give away free Classic Smashburgers to the first 100 guests on Saturday, Jan. 28; there will also be an opportunity for one of the first 100 guests to win one free Classic Smashburger each week for a year. Additional grand opening giveaways include a free milkshake coupons with the purchase of a menu item from 12-1 p.m.; coupons will be valid for milkshakes during guest's next Locust Grove in-store visit. On Mondays from Jan. 30 to March 27, children ages 12 and under will be able to eat free with the purchase of an adult entrée.

The company’s burgers are made of 100-percent fresh, Certified Angus Beef that is then smashed on a flat grill to sear in the juicy flavor, hence the name. The company will also give 10-percent of its grand opening day sales to Noah’s Ark, a non-profit educational sanctuary for exotic animals as well as farm animals in Locust Grove, GA.
