A new Brazilian steakhouse is serving up more than 16 different meats in North Fulton.

Galeto Brazilian Steakhouse, which opened last week on Mansell Road in Alpharetta, features churrasco-style meats served tableside including Costela de Porco (pork ribs), filet mignon, linguica (Brazilian sausage) and alcatra (top sirloin).

The menu also includes appetizers such as polenta and pão-de-queijo (cheese bread); a “gourmet table” with a spread of seafood including scallops, roasted salmon, cod and tuna as well as a variety of cold and hot dishes such as feijoada (a black bean stew), grilled eggplant and crab salad; and desserts including Brazilian mousse and creme brulee.

The full bar offers a variety of Brazilian beers, wines and cocktails such as caipirinhas and Amazon Honey, a drink made with vodka, passion fruit, honey ginger syrup and lemon juice and topped with Cava sparkling wine.

For now, Galeto is open for dinner only from 5-9 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 5-9:30 p.m. Friday-Saturday.

The Alpharetta location is the third for Galeto, which also has restaurants in California and Arizona.
