It's a tough call. We live in the peach state, but there has been a lot of talk that South Carolina's peaches win the taste battle.

We've got Watsonia Farms from Monetta, South Carolina and Pearson Farm from Fort Valley, Georgia that dominate the farmers markets here in town. So as we say goodbye to peach season, we are curious to know, which peaches taste better to you?

The larger South Carolina peach was plump and drippy when I bit into the flesh. The floral aroma tickled my tongue and I tasted hints of nectar and honey. The Georgia peach had a less pronounced flavor and was less juicy. However when I added some goat cheese, the pair waltzed down my palate with a tangy bite.
