The maker of one of Atlanta's best burgers is joining the culinary roster at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Fred’s Meat & Bread will open a cart in the stadium starting June 29 for the Atlanta United match vs. Montreal, near section 116.

The cart will serve Fred’s cheesesteak sandwich, made with 10 ounces of ribeye steak, American cheese and onions on a nine-inch hoagie, for $14.

The eatery is from Todd Ginsberg, Shelley Sweet and Jennifer and Ben Johnson, who are also partners in The General Muir, Yalla, The Canteen and TGM Bread and the newly-opened Wood's Chapel BBQ.

The first Fred’s Meat & Bread opened in Krog Street Market in 2014. There’s also a location in The Canteen in Midtown.

Mercedes-Benz Stadium concessions, which went cashless earlier this year, feature "fans first" pricing, offering some of the lowest-priced food in the NFL.

In addition to stadium-run concessions stands, the stadium also features a variety of locally-owned options including Kevin Gillespie’s Gamechanger, Concentrics Restaurants’ Molly B’s, Farm Burger, The Iberian Pig and Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q.
