Chef Marc Taft had a busy year, but his 2018 is shaping up to be even busier.

Taft, whose FEED Fried Chicken & Such just opened its doors at The Battery at SunTrust Park , announced that he'll bring the same concept to the Town Center mixed-use development in Peachtree Corners in 2018.

In addition to the Peachtree Corners restaurant, Taft is also set to open a FEED, as well as CO-OP Community Table + Bar and an unnamed burger concept at the Halcyon development in Forsyth County in 2018.

Inspired by memories of childhood meals at his grandmother's house, FEED will serve up catfish, country-fried steak, meatloaf, macaroni and cheese and other Southern staples in addition to fried chicken, as well as some healthier options including grilled chicken and salads. Desserts include soft serve ice cream, milkshakes, pies and baked goods, and the restaurant has a full bar.

"In the South, fried chicken is practically a religion. It needs to be treated with respect, and that’s our mission at FEED," Taft said in a prepared statement.

In addition to FEED and his yet-to-open concepts, Taft is also behind Marietta's popular The Chicken and the Egg, as well as Brine Seafood Shack at Avalon in Alpharetta.

Located at the corner of Peachtree Parkway and Medlock Bridge Road, the 21-acre Peachtree Corners Town Center project will be home to other restaurants, shops, a Town Green for community gatherings, a theater and townhomes.
