A Decatur sandwich shop has closed its doors, citing lack of parking as a major concern.

Cookin' Up a Storm closed last week at 250 W. Ponce de Leon Ave., Decaturish first reported.

The eatery, which opened in 2016, took the place of Sawicki's Meat, Seafood and More, which closed that year after nearly a decade in business.

Cookin’ Up a Storm owner Robin DeVos, who also owns a location in Jackson, Miss., told Decaturish that “parking is a big issue (nothing new).”

The spot's website now says, "We are going wholesale! We found our niche. We will be partnering with different businesses in Atlanta. While we won't have a store front, we will be available at several locations. Stay tuned!!"

The AJC is working to find out what will move into the store front.
