Editor’s note: An earlier version of this story incorrectly reported that Bogartz Food Artz would replace both Tin Can Fish House and Teela Taqueria in Sandy Springs. Although Teela Taqueria closed briefly for renovations, it remains open.
Southern dishes with a twist will be on the menu when Bogartz Food Artz opens its doors in Sandy Springs next month.
The restaurant, from chef Bruce Bogartz, will replace Tin Can Fish House at 227 Sandy Springs Place NE.
Bogartz, who has a degree in economics from Emory University, previously operated a food truck and did culinary consulting work in Knoxville. He also served as a personal chef for Don Johnson and Melanie Griffith and owned several of his own restaurants.
Bogartz’s menu will include a variety of lunch and dinner dishes including Jerk Smoked Wings, a Duck Club Sandwich and Brie Beignets, as well as options for meat-and-two.
The restaurant also plans to add a brunch menu.
