Atkins Park. This Virginia-Highland bar is celebrating in a variety of ways. On Oct. 24, Atkins Park taps its cellared keg of 2018 Southern Tier Warlock and will host pumpkin carving for prizes. Return on Oct. 26 for an annual Halloween bash with music from DJ Padron starting at 10 p.m. and drink features from Jack Daniels. The Virginia-Highland neighborhood presents its Kids Candy Crawl on Oct. 29, and Atkins Park will offer free kids meals to children in costume with an adult entrée purchase. The bar will also show "Hocus Pocus" on a projector at 8 p.m., and kids can bob for apples to win prizes. Later that evening, adults will watch "Scream" and participate in apple bobbing for a chance to win Jack Apple/Jack Fire prizes.
