A new spot for breakfast, brunch and lunch is set to open in the booming Summerhill neighborhood early next year.

Poach is slated for the NeighborGoods development at 112 Ormond St. in March 2020, What Now Atlanta reports.

Owner Brian Mitchell, who is using a 1,500 square-foot former grocery store for his eatery, wrote on a Kickstarter page launched for the project earlier this year that he wants to "open a breakfast and brunch cafe to provide the residences of Summerhill with attainable and healthy food options. We want our restaurant to be more than just a place to get food, but to also bring the community together to restore its greatness."

The menu will feature items including chicken and waffles, shrimp and grits, sandwiches and smoothies.

Also set for the NeighborGoods development is the long-awaited brick-and-mortar location of Thai pop-up Talat Market, set to open soon.

A few blocks to the north on Georgia Avenue, developer Carter has overseen the opening of several food and beverage concepts including Junior's Pizzasoft serve ice cream shop Big Softie and Little Tart Bakeshopbarbecue restaurant Wood's Chapel BBQ; and brewery Halfway Crooks Beer.

Coming in the next year are arcade bar Press StartD Boca N Boca from the owner of The Real Mexican Vittles pop-up; Concept, from the founder of Hush Dinner Club; Little Bear from Eat Me Speak Me pop-up founder Jarrett Steiber; Redacted, a conspiracy theory-themed bar; Hodgepodge Coffeehouse; hot dog shop Hot Dog Pete's and doughnut shop Hero Doughnuts.

The AJC has reached out to Haverhill Holdings, the leasing agent for NeighborGoods, for more information on Poach.
