Star Provisions Market & Cafe, the namesake of chef Anne Quatrano’s Star Provisions restaurant group, will reopen May 5 for breakfast and lunch takeout.  Bacchanalia, the fine dining restaurant that shares a building with Star Provisions, will reopen for takeout dinner service on May 7. The restaurant group temporarily halted nearly all operations in late March, though the market has offered gift baskets for holidays like Easter and Mother’s Day.

Starting this week, Star Provisions will be open 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays. Menu offerings include coffee, breakfast, lunch, bread and pastries. Takeout dinner service from Bacchanalia will begin Thursday, with contactless curbside pickup available. Both the cafe and restaurant are accepting orders  online and via phone at 404-365-0410 ext. 4.

Remaining true to its fine dining identity, Bacchanalia’s takeout dinner menu will be a four-course prix fixe with options like lobster, foie gras tourchon, duck, grouper and steak. Each four-course dinner will cost $95 per person.

The two concepts reopening this week share a building and kitchen on Ellsworth Industrial Boulevard, but the other restaurants in the Star Provisions group will remain closed, including W.H. Stiles Fish Camp, Little Star Provisions and Floataway Cafe. According to the announcement posted on the restaurant group’s website, the group will take enhanced safety precautions as it begins to serve takeout.

“We can assure you we have plans in place for a safe and efficient food delivery system, continued rigorous cleaning and disinfecting schedule, daily staff health evaluations and more,” reads the reopening announcement. “We look forward to serving you in creative ways in the meantime and can’t wait for the day we can all gather around the table – together.”
