Two "traveler's oasis" locations are in the works for Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, with sleep units, spa services, chiropractic care and a shower.

Minute Suites won a contract for traveler's oasis locations on Concourses T and B at the Atlanta airport.

The Atlanta City Council this week approved the contract for the locations, which are expected to open sometime next year.

"It's really meant to be a wellness center... like a true wellness oasis in the airport," said Daniel Solomon, co-founder of Minute Suites, which already has sleep units on Concourses T and B and has proposed to open additional sleep units on international Concourses E and F at the Atlanta airport.

Minute Suites charges $42 an hour to rent a sleep unit, or $155 for eight hours.

At the traveler's oasis locations, Minute Suites will have Chiroport offering chiropractic adjustments and Be Relax spa as subtenants.

Minute Suites locations that have showers also have yoga mats and exercise cycles, Solomon said.

He said he expects shower fees in Atlanta to be similar to current locations at Dallas/Fort Worth International and Charlotte airports. There, a 30-minute shower costs $30, and for those who rent suites, it costs $20 to use the shower.
