Qatar Airways is looking for new flight attendants, and plans to hold a recruitment event July 16 at the Ritz-Carlton in downtown Atlanta.
The cabin crew recruitment event starts at 9 a.m. on July 16, with the airline saying it offers "competitive compensation and benefit packages." Cabin crew members must be willing to relocate to Doha, Qatar.

The airline said it gives its cabin crew members a "tax-free renumeration package including accommodation, allowances and transportation for duty." Those interested must bring along certain documents, according to Qatar Airways' website.
Qatar Airways launched flights to Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport on June 1, igniting a turf war with Atlanta-based Delta Air Lines. After Qatar Airways held its inaugural event at the Fox Theatre, Delta said it would not renew its sponsorship of the storied theater.
And Qatar brought a super-jumbo Airbus A380 jet for its first flight into Atlanta, but was unable to get access to a gate at Hartsfield-Jackson that could handle the massive jet. Delta was using the gate, and the world's busiest airport said Qatar "did not provide adequate notice" for the airport and airlines to move operations to make room for the world's largest passenger jet. Qatar brought the A380 into Atlanta as a one-time inaugural event before shifting to the Boeing 777 for regular daily flights.
A Washington-based nonprofit called Alliance for Workers Against Repression Everywhere has organized protests of Qatar Airways over treatment of employees.
Qatar has called the group's accusations "false and overstated," adding, "employment with the airline is regarded as one of the most sought after and desired in aviation."
