If you use park-and-ride lots at the world’s busiest airport, note that there are new locations for some parking shuttle pick-ups.
Hartsfield-Jackson International is moving shuttle pick-ups for airport-run parking at the domestic terminal back to the Terminal South outer curb, now that canopy construction is complete.
The airport had shifted Park ATL shuttle pickups to the Terminal North roadway last year to make way for construction of the south canopy.
Construction of the south canopy wrapped up earlier this month, and on Sept. 21 the airport relocated domestic terminal Park ATL shuttle pickups back to the Terminal South outer curb.
Those who use airport-run park-ride lots can get to the Terminal South pickup area by exiting door W2 and turning left, according to Hartsfield-Jackson.
Those who use private off-airport lots should also note that Hartsfield-Jackson last month moved off-airport parking pickups to the Terminal North lower level.
Off-airport parking shuttles previously picked up passengers at the ground transportation center, but that area will be used for construction of a hotel to be built next to the terminal.
