Hartsfield-Jackson expanding Concourse C

Oct 15, 2015

Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport is expanding Concourse C, with plans for a new food court in the center of the concourse.

Construction to expand the center of the concourse and add windows is already complete.

A Carrabba's and an Umaizushi bistro bar have opened on Concourse C, and more concessions are planned in the expanded food court area.

Concessionaire HMSHost celebrated the new Carrabba's last month.

The work on Concourse C follows a similar expansion on Concourse D, which has a new food court and more full-service restaurants. But since then, Southwest Airlines has pulled out of Concourse D and consolidated its operations onto Concourse C -- driving long waits for some restaurants on Concourse C during busy travel periods.
