The National Weather Service issued an updated winter weather advisory at 6:15 a.m. on Tuesday valid from 4 p.m. until Wednesday 9 a.m.
The NWS says to prepare for, "Total snow accumulations up to one inch."
"The snowfall will create slippery and snow covered roadways. The hazardous conditions could impact the Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning commutes," adds the NWS. "Monitor the latest forecasts for updates on this situation. Slow down and use caution while traveling. A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet, or freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving."
