Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport on Friday, July 19, 2024 as a massive outage affected Microsoft users around the globe, disrupting airlines, railways, banks, stock exchanges and other businesses. U.S. airlines including Delta, United and American grounded flights, and airlines and airports across the globe are affected. The source of the outage involves security updates related to Microsoft 365 apps and services from cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike.
