Fans of rolled ice cream know to settle their fix at 8 Fahrenheit in Doraville, Duluth and Cumming, at Roll It Up in Doraville or at recently opened Mist Snack Dessert bar in Chamblee. Soon, they'll be able to find this trendy frozen treat in Buckhead.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported back in February that Philadelphia-based rolled ice cream and yogurt shop Sweet Charlie's would be opening a location at 3872 Roswell Road next to Superica. The wait is nearly over. The newest Sweet Charlie's will be debut on June 8.

The hand-rolled ice cream store launched last year in Philadelphia and has expanded to locations in New Jersey and Delaware. This is its first franchise location.

The concept starts with a base of ice cream, non-fat yogurt or the company’s Nada-Moo vegan option. Customers then choose a cup or a glazed Sublime doughnut as an ice cream-carrying container, and pick from a variety of toppings. Ice cream is made-to-order on a sub-20 degree surface.

Flavors include Rise & Shine (made with bits of Cinnamon Toast Crunch), Monkey See Monkey Do (made with Nutella and bananas) and Kiss & Tell (made with mint Oreos).
