Now that showers have moved out of Atlanta, don’t expect them to return just yet.

Clear, sunny skies with highs in the 50s are forecast the rest of this week, Channel 2 Action News reported.

Scattered showers that covered parts of Atlanta have moved east, according to the news station. Rain should dwindle by 11 p.m.

Tuesday morning will be breezy with a high of 57, Channel 2 meteorologist Brad Nitz said.

Temperatures, which have been on the upswing since last week’s winter storm, surpassed the average high of 53 degrees, Channel 2 reported. Currently, the temperature is 62 in Atlanta.

Expect temperatures to stay in the high 50s the rest of this week.

Atlanta’s next chance of rain is Saturday. There is a 70 percent chance of showers that day, Nitz said.
