A ranking of 12 U.S. airlines by on-time performance gives travelers an idea of how likely they are to be delayed.

Hawaiian Airlines had the No. 1 on-time performance among U.S. airlines in the first half of 2016, with 86.5 percent of its flights arriving on time, according to the U.S. Bureau of Transportation Statistics.
