Virginia Tech defensive coordinator Bud Foster isn’t expecting too many fakes or trick plays when the Hokies take on Georgia Tech on Saturday.

"They're not going to call that in this kind of game," Foster said Tuesday, according to The Roanoke Times. "The quarterback's going to get hit, hopefully a lot. But by the same token, we've got to be able to catch him, too. This guy's pretty special."

In his first season as Georgia Tech quarterback, TaQuon Marshall has rushed for 867 yards and 14 touchdowns this season and thrown for 667 yards and six touchdowns.

Largely due to Marshall’s quickness, Georiga Tech ranks first in the ACC in rushing yards per game (331.9), while Virginia Tech has allowed opponents an average of 122.8 rushing yards.

The Hokies are ranked sixth in the ACC in sacks (21) and tied for sixth in forced fumbles (6) this season.

The No. 17 Hokies will kick off against the Yellow Jackets at 12:20 p.m. on Saturday at Bobby Dodd Stadium.
