1. Braves fall to Dodgers in Sims first start
Behind the pitching of Lucas Sims in his major league debut, the Atlanta Braves lost to the Los Angeles Dodgers 3-2 on Tuesday night. Sims allowed six hits and three runs in six innings with no walks and three strikeouts on Tuesday. The Braves continue the three-game series against the Dodgers on Wednessday night at 7:35 p.m. at SunTrust Park.

D. Orlando Ledbetter recaps the Atlanta Falcons sixth day of training camp on Tuesday. Ledbetter spoke with coach Dan Quinn about rookies Takkarist McKinley and Duke Riley as well as why cornerback Jalen Collins was practicing with the third team.
3. Georgia Tech lands 13th commit
Bowling Green, Ky. linebacker Justice Dingle verbally committed to Georgia Tech on Tuesday afternoon. The three-star rising senior also had offers from Tennessee, Purdue Virginia and Louisville.

5. Ronald Acuna has three-hit game with Gwinnett
Although Ozzie Albies was called up to play with the Atlanta Braves on Tuesday night, the Braves top prospect Ronald Acuna put on a show with Gwinnett. The 19-year-old Acuna had three hits in the G-Braves 3-2 loss to Norfolk.
