1. Braves lose to Dodgers, 5-4

Even with a three-run home run by Matt "Big City" Adams in the ninth inning, the Atlanta Braves lost to the Los Angeles Dodgers on Sunday. The Dodgers split the series with the Braves on Sunday with a 5-4 win in the tenth. The Braves start a three-game series against the Arizona Diamondbacks on Monday night at 9:40 p.m.

2. Ole Miss coach Huge Freeze resigns

Much of the SEC and college football news this weekend surrounded former Ole Miss coach Hugh Freeze resigning amidst reports Freeze called an escort service. More on the AJC.com.

3. Falcons training camp begins this week

4. Kyrie Irving asks for trade

5. Atlanta United defeats Orlando City

In the first game in over two weeks, Atlanta United traveled to Orlando and defeated Orlando City 1-0 on Friday. Atlanta United have a rematch against Orlando City on Saturday at Bobby Dodd Stadium at 5 p.m. The match will be broadcast on Fox.
