Cornerback Robert Alford thinks the Atlanta Falcons are the fastest team in the NFL.

In an appearance on the NFL Network’s “Good Morning Football” on Monday, Alford said the reigning NFC Champions’ combination of himself, Julio Jones, Taylor Gabriel, Devonta Freeman and Tevin Coleman can take on any team in the League.

"I feel like we have the fastest core in the NFL," Alford said. "Until otherwise, until other people show us, I think we're the number one dogs."

Alford recorded 61 combined tackles, two interceptions and one touchdown last season in addition to an 82-yard pick-six off New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady in February’s Super Bowl.
