Falcons coach Dan Quinn said wide receiver Julio Jones (foot/toe) and center Alex Mack (fibula) won’t practice during the bye week before the Super Bowl on Feb. 5. Quinn said both players are expected to practice next week in Houston.

Jones has dealt with injuries for more than a month, but played in the past four games after missing two. Jones played 44 snaps (60 percent) in the NFC Championship game victory over the Packers on Sunday and caught nine passes for 180 yards and two TDs.

Mack left the Packers game for one play before returning. Quinn said Mack’s fibula is swollen near the point where it joins the ankle.
