The Atlanta Falcons defeated the Green Bay Packers in the NFC Championship Game in Atlanta to advance the Super Bowl LI.

As that happened, the New England Patriots were taking the field to face the Pittsburgh Steelers in the AFC title game in Foxboro, Mass.

Bill Belichick has been there before. New England's head coach has guided the Patriots to a Super Bowl for a seventh time in his tenure. Knowing the opponent may be meaningless at this point.

In the hour that followed the win, he celebrated on the field; he talked to his team; he showered; and then he started and answering questions.

Among them was looking toward their matchup and preparation against the Falcons.

That may be why the Pats open as the favorites to beat the Falcons in Houston.
