With Adidas to become Georgia Tech's next apparel provider, it's worth a look at what the brand has done for other clients.

The Hurricanes wore green on white last season at Georgia Tech. Adidas’ “Primeknit” technology can be seen on the jerseys in a design that detractors have called “tire tread.”
According to Adidas, “The jersey’s padlock system secures tension over the shoulder pads, while the bodymap fit adheres to the player, making it difficult for opponents to grab, hold or tackle.” Note also the stripes on the sleeves and on the pants.

Miami’s “305 Ice” alternate uniforms, worn in 2015. Note the metallic silver “Miami” on the side of the left pant leg and the silver on white helmets. According to Adidas, the look “was inspired by the reflections and glow that come off the high-rises that both create Miami's skyline and line South Florida's coast.”

The Cardinals wore this look in their bowl game last season. The oversized logo on the left hip continues a repeated pattern among Adidas uniforms. The same could be said of the chrome helmets, although Nike schools have also worn chrome.

The Cardinals wore stars and stripes on the shoulders of these military appreciation uniforms last season on Veteran’s Day. From Adidas:
“Inspired by patriotism and influenced by street culture, the new special edition uniform fuses traditional stars and stripes shapes and patterns with a black and white color palette that's currently seen in street culture apparel trends.”
N.C. State
Adidas signed N.C. State to a deal that began in 2012, and re-upped in 2015 for six years for $38.7 million.

Nebraska
The Cornhuskers have been with Adidas since 1995. They’re in an 11-year deal worth $128 million, about half cash and the other half gear.

This might be the most memorable alternative uniform that Adidas has created recently, worn against (then-Adidas client) Wisconsin in 2012.
