WHAT HE SAID

On why he chose Tech: "I went to three visits before I committed and every time it was like Georgia Tech got better and better and better, and I just really love the academic part of it. I want to get a degree that means something and they really stressed to me that it's not about football while you're there — it's your life after and you can do anything with that degree. I really love the campus and it's a great football program as well, so it was just the total package."

On playing in the option offense that he also played in at Savannah Christian: "I love it. There's a lot of offensive linemen that don't like it but I really love it the option offense because it's really aggressive and you just get after it."
