Georgia Tech quarterback Justin Thomas was named the ACC’s offensive back of the week Monday after his standout performance in the Yellow Jackets’ 38-35 win over Duke on Saturday. It’s the second time in his career that he has earned the honor.

Thomas’ effort against the Blue Devils was one of the best by a quarterback in school history, with 10-for-14 passing for 264 yards and two touchdowns and 17 rushes for 195 yards and two touchdowns. His 459 yards of total offense was third highest by a Tech player and his 276.97 passing efficiency rating was also third highest for a Yellow Jackets quarterback. Thomas’ 195 rushing yards also broke Tevin Washington’s school record for most rushing yards in a game by a quarterback.
