Georgia Tech honored team members from the offense, defense and special teams for their roles in the Yellow Jackets’ 33-7 win over North Carolina Saturday at Bobby Dodd Stadium.

Center Kenny Cooper, safety A.J. Gray and punter Pressley Harvin were named the players of the week for the offense, defense and special teams, respectively. On Monday, Cooper and Gray were also named ACC players of the week for their respective position groups.

“It just feels pretty good to be able to earn that accomplishment,” Cooper said of the ACC honor after the team’s Tuesday practice.

Cooper blocked 10 defenders to the ground as the Jackets recorded their third 400-yard rushing game of the season. Gray had two critical interceptions in the third quarter that helped secure the game for Tech. Harvin punted three times for an average of 47.3 yards per kick, two of which were returned for a total of 23 yards. Tech netted 39.7 yards on the three punts.
