For a game that didn’t feature much action in the first half, Georgia Tech and North Carolina packed plenty of it in three plays in the third quarter Saturday at Bobby Dodd Stadium.

With the Yellow Jackets leading 10-0, a Tar Heels defender punched the ball out of quarterback TaQuon Marshall’s arm and forced the first turnover of the day.

On the next play, A.J. Gray jumped a route and picked off Chazz Surratt to give Tech the ball back.

On the play after that, KirVonte Benson bounced off multiple UNC defenders on his way to a 63-yard touchdown run, giving Tech a 17-0 lead.
