Former Georgia Bulldogs star Herschel Walker says he's being shunned from speaking events because of his support for Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.

Walker told the "TMZ Sports" show  that he has had a number of engagements canceled because organizers are afraid he would attract anti-Trump protesters.

The Heisman Trophy winner and former "Celebrity Apprentice" contestant is shying away from backing Trump.  He's proud of having known Trump "before he became 'The Donald.' "

Walker played in Trump’s short-lived United States Football League, before spending 12 years in the NFL with the Dallas Cowboys, Minnesota Vikings and Philadelphia Eagles.

Walker echoed his earlier statements that the presumptive Republican nominee is not racist.

"Just because you build a wall, doesn't mean you're a racist," Walker told TMZ.
