Lorenzo Carter has payback on the mind.
The senior linebacker passed on the NFL draft after last season for a multitude of reasons, including his record against Georgia Tech.
Carter is 1-2 against the Yellow Jackets, with a chance to pull even this Saturday in Atlanta.
“That was one of the things I thought about personally that I needed to do,” Carter said. “I didn’t want to leave with a losing record to Tech. Right now I have a losing record to Tech. The seniors, we do. We just wanted to come back and just play our brand of football and finish out strong.”
Expect the Bulldogs to be prepared for the always mind-numbing triple option, according to Carter.
“It’s tough,” he said. “Triple option, you’ve got to stay focused. … I think we’re going to do a good job because this week we’ve put emphasis on it. Our coaches emphasized being disciplined and having eye-discipline all the time no matter who we play.”
