There won’t be a seat left open inside Mercedes-Benz Stadium on New Year’s Day. The 2018 Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl between No. 12 Central Florida and No. 7 Auburn on Jan. 1, is officially sold out, the bowl announced Thursday.

With this year’s sellout, the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl has now sold out 19 of its last 21 games dating back to 1997. The Peach Bowl has averaged 71,334 fans in attendance since 2000. This will be the first year since 1992 that the recently demolished Georgia Dome will not host the game.

“I can’t think of a better way to celebrate our 50th Anniversary than with a top-12 matchup in front of a packed house on New Year’s Day,” said Gary Stokan, Peach Bowl CEO and president. “We’re looking forward to starting 2018 off by welcoming more than 70,000 UCF and Auburn fans to Atlanta.”

The game is scheduled to kick off at 12:30 p.m. and can be seen on ESPN. UCF is making its first appearance in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl while Auburn is making its sixth. The Tigers -- 4-1 all-time in Peach Bowls -- last appearance in 2011 resulted in a in a 43-24 victory over Virginia.

On secondary ticket sites like StubHub and Ticketmaster, the cheapest tickets can still be purchased for about $100.
