The Braves’ first game in their new Cobb County stadium will be a March 31 exhibition against the New York Yankees.

The game will close out the Braves’ 2017 spring training and provide a trial run for SunTrust Park before regular-season play begins there in April.

Tickets to the exhibition game will be available for sale to Braves “A List” members — full and partial season-ticket holders. All full-season packages will include tickets to the game.

“The excitement is growing for the opening of SunTrust Park and (adjacent mixed-use development) The Battery Atlanta, and we want to share that excitement as a reward to our season ticket holders and showcase the building for the first time in front of them,” Derek Schiller, the Braves’ president of business, said in a statement.

“Our new ballpark will be among the best in Major League Baseball, and this game will give our A-List members the opportunity to get a first glimpse at SunTrust Park. It will give them the chance to find their way to the ballpark, find their way around the ballpark, try out our new concessions and experience first-hand all of the state-of-the-art amenities.”

Braves full-season tickets for 2017 are currently on sale. Partial-season packages will go on sale later, followed by single-game tickets.
