In the era since LASIK surgery it is rare to see players with glasses. Braves outfielder B.J. Upton became the latest Brave when he wore prescription glasses for the first time in his major-league career Friday.

In the era since LASIK surgery it is rare to see players with glasses. Braves outfielder B.J. Upton wore prescription glasses for the first time in his major-league career Friday. The 10-year veteran donned a pair of black-framed standard glasses Friday but claimed that he has ordered specs that will help his peripheral vision as well.
