A south Fulton County woman died Tuesday after being shot in a weekend home invasion, authorities said.

Pamela Williams called police just after 8 p.m. Saturday to report that someone was breaking into her home, Fulton County police spokeswoman Cpl. Kay Lester said Tuesday.

Officers arrived to the home in the 3000 block of Amhurst Parkway to find that Williams, 43, was unresponsive, Lester said.

She was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital with gunshot wounds, and died on Tuesday, police said.

Police have not determined a motive or identified a suspect.

“We currently don’t have any leads,” Lester said.
