A 12-year-old girl reported missing late Wednesday has been found, an Atlanta police spokeswoman said Saturday afternoon.

Sernesha Burston “has been located and is OK,” Officer Kim Jones told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Burston was last seen around 11 p.m. Wednesday when she left her home in the 1600 block of Stanton Road to visit a nearby friend, police spokesman John Chafee said Friday.

Police found Burston Saturday afternoon along Westmont Road and Avon Avenue. No other details were released.
