A collision Tuesday night left two people, including a baby, in critical condition, DeKalb police said.

Two people, including a 4-month-old, were critically injured after a collision in DeKalb County, police said.

Just after 10 p.m. Tuesday, officers responded to the crash on Mountain Industrial Boulevard near Jimmy Carter Boulevard, DeKalb police Lt. Lonzy Robertson said.

Investigators learned a Dodge Charger driven by a 21-year-old man was heading south on Mountain Industrial Boulevard between President’s Way and North Royal Atlanta Drive. The driver lost control, crossed a raised median, entered northbound lanes and nearly hit a Honda Odyssey head on, Robertson said.

Four of the seven people in the Odyssey were children.

Everyone involved in the crash required medical treatment, according to police. The driver of the Dodge was taken from the scene in critical condition, Robertson said.

He did not know the current status of the driver or the 4-month-old.

No charges have been filed in connection with the crash, Robertson said.
