Wet weather may have played a role in a 15-car pileup that blocked all lanes on I-75 South in Bartow County for more than three hours Sunday afternoon.
Lanes opened about 5:30 p.m. as wreckers towed away mangled vehicles, Channel 2 Action News reported.
The crashes happened before the Glade Road exit, according to Georgia Department of Transportation officials.
Brad Cothran, a spokesman for Bartow County emergency medical services, said the crash happened about 1:42 p.m.
A total of 10 people were take to nearby hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries, he said.
A tow truck driver told Channel 2 Action News that three tractor-trailers were involved in the pileup.
