Before a pair of escaped Georgia inmates surrendered they had been on the run for three days.

Atlanta Journal-Constitution reporters were on the ground in Putnam County, Georgia -  where Donnie Russell Rowe and Ricky Dubose staged their brazen escape from a prison transport bus. They were also in rural Tennessee, where the fugitives were captured.
