Firefighters responded at 9:17a.m. to a report of a tree down on a house at 2018 McDaniels Bridge Road, SW in Lilburn on Tuesday, April 29, 2014. Crews found a tree down with penetration into the attic and living space. No injuries were reported. Channel 2 Action News reported what was believed to be a tornado in Troup County. No other active warnings are in place closer to the metro area. Severe weather is anticipated through early Thursday morning. Flooding is anticipated from Carrollton to Athens, with up to 4 inches of rain expected across a swath of land going southwest to northeast through Atlanta. HYOSUB SHIN / HSHIN@AJC.COM
