When an Ohio woman called 911 for help, dispatchers were stunned when they heard her plea for help.
"I have a boa constrictor stuck to my face," the 45-year-old Sheffield Lake resident told the 911 operator.
"You have a boa constrictor stuck to your face?" the dispatcher repeated, according to Fox 8 Cleveland.
The operator can be heard saying, “I’ve never heard of this before.”
The unidentified woman was in her driveway at her home some 25 miles outside of Cleveland when the incident happened on Thursday.
"It was wrapped around her neck and biting her nose and wouldn't let go," Fire Chief Tim Card explained to The Elyria Chronicle-Telegram.
“They had to cut its head off with a knife to get it to let go of her face,” Card said.
The woman had just rescued two boa constrictors the day before also had nine ball pythons in her home, according to the Chronicle.
The woman was treated at a local hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
